It's World Water Day!

Today we will explore the theme of Water. Ever wondered where all of our water comes from and where it goes. Explore these questions and discover the concerns with water contamination and conservation and simple changes that you can make in your home to save litres a day.

Join the Fraser River Discovery Centre and their hands-on demonstration as to where all the water that falls on Vancouver actually ends up. SPEC will have water conservation ideas and information. There will also be a Water Bottle Challenge where you can test your taste buds and determine if bottled water makes sense in a place like Vancouver. In our lobby, take the taste test and see what you prefer, win fabulous prizes (provided by the Broadway and Vine London Drugs) , and reduce the thousands of plastic bottles that need to be recycled every year.
