The Sharing Space (S2) Programme provides highschool Career Preparation students with an opportunity to share the wonders of space with elementary school children in their own communities.

S2 presenters are exceptional, well rounded youth passionate about science education. A selection of experiences and achievement of S2 participants is listed below.

  • Participants and award winners in the Euclid Math Contest, the Pascal Math Contest, and the Fermat Math Contest
  • First place Fencing Champion at the B.C. Provincials
  • President of small business specializing in network security
  • Actors in numerous productions including: Beauty and the Beast and The Crucible
  • Individuals fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, French, German, Bosnian, Persian, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, Punjabi
  • Canvassers for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association and Children's Hospital
  • Recipients of numerous Athletic Awards
  • Participant in NASA's Space Camp Program
  • Girl Guide Leader
  • Recipient of Scout's Canada's Chief Scout Award
  • Recipient of Theatre Arts Outstanding Actor Award
  • Participant in 1999 Olympic Youth Leadership Academy
  • Volunteers in the following areas: Community hospitals and extended Care Units, Math and Music tutoring, Science World,
  • Vancouver Aquarium, coaching, Amnesty International, Western Canada Wilderness Committee, Child Care Centres, Youth Camps, Peer Mediation, Nature’s Own Nutrition Centre, Dragonboat fundraising, West Vancouver’s Harmony Arts Festival and Canadian Cancer Society
